On May 24, 2022, the Jacksonville (FL) City Council honored my mother for her years of service to the city. My mom always felt that many didn’t recognize her efforts, positively, to improve the lives of children and those who felt left behind. Well, they had noticed her and have for some time appreciated her additions to Jacksonville. The Jacksonville City Council members are just a few of the positive voices singing her praise!
